Who Is TabTrade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade - The Short Version

Tab Trade went live in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail matters. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still better than a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities prime brokers run on. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.

What You Trade On

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after comparing.

FIX API is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That will make the platform set once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Good for beginners.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can be under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not relevant to typical accounts. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The speed is the area where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote a much wider range.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package makes sense. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

Now, the thing that matters. Tab Trade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.

The Bonus

TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
