Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade - What It Is

TabTrade went live in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It should factor into your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
