Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something this new, that coverage is broad.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. cBot support. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.
FIX API is offered for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the thing that matters. Tab Trade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform your decision.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense is your call.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
The complete breakdown, including regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and check here the bonus terms, is at TradeTheDay.
